What is FOOD FOR THOUGHT?

FOOD FOR THOUGHT is a social network, a web with learning resources, a blog and - above all - a learning space where young people from all over the world can share their work, concerns and ideas about the big issues related to Food Injustice.

A space where you can learn, think, share and act.

The moment has come to FEED thoughts!

Through the Food for Thought network you will be able to:

  • Write your own posts on the blog, sharing all your experiences and actions related to Connecting Worlds or to other issues linked to Food Justice.
  • Chat, discuss and share ideas in the subject-forums with students from all over the world.
  • Upload or download documents and resources such as pictures, videos and working documents of the different projects.
  • In addition, you can join other projects working on Food Justice. Every project is a learning proposal in itself which enables to keep working on the issue and sharing experiences with students from other parts of the world.

How does it work?

  1. Share your work, ideas and actions with other people. Access Food for Thought and you’ll find a space devoted to this.
  2. Join other projects and download the relevant materials.
  3. Work these proposals with your class-group and study the issue more in depth together with other students.

Participation in FOOD FOR THOUGHT is open to all groups of young people who are working or have worked on any of the learning proposals suggested on the website.

Moreover, posts on the blogs are public and therefore can be viewed by family members, friends and other members of our community, who can see what the world’s youth is doing to achieve more Food Justice.

Participation is open to groups aged 6 years and older.
